The ORIGINAL Grit Girl was started in 2000 in Scott, Mississippi with the restoration of a 1912 Fairbanks Morris Flywheel Engine and a 1910 Meadows Stone Gristmill. What started as a hobby soon turned into a small business offering 100% Mississippi Made Stone Ground Products. We Mill the South's finest Grits, Corn Meal, Polenta, & Masa. Milling is our passion and THANK YOU to our customers for allowing us to continue doing what we love.
