Overview

Mac McCord is a puppeteer, artist and animator living in the Raleigh NC area. He has performed puppet shows since childhood and began a serious study of puppetry while an art and sculpture student at San Jose State University in San Jose CA in the late 1960's. He became a member of the Puppeteers of America and the San Francisco Bay Area Puppeteers Guild. Moving to Tennessee in 1971, he worked for a number of years for Tom Tichenor and the Nashville TN Main Library. He also took his own hand
