I use only English Bridle Leather, the Back cut from the hide. The Back is the strongest and best looking part of the hide. I purchase all my leather from Wickett & Craig, a fine leather tannery. You don't get that ugly swag in the back of the belts after a little wear. The Solid Brass Hardware used at Tuckers comes from Weaver Leather Co. who, a few years ago bought out Mast Hardware.
